Don't miss the opportunity to take part in one of the following ways:

  • Non-Profit Organization: a 10 x 10 uncovered space on grass is available for $25 per day.  Non-profit organizations are not permitted to sell their goods and/or services.  Please provide a photo-copy of 501 (c)(3) with application.
  • Food Vendors: a 10 x 10 uncovered space on grass is available for $125 per day.
  • Retail Vendors: a 10 x 10 uncovered space on grass is available for $100 per day.

**GUIDELINES for Festival participation**

NOTE: TABLES, CHAIRS AND CANOPIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE IF ORDERED IN ADVANCE; OTHERWISE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING YOUR OWN TABLES, CHAIRS AND CANOPIES FOR A 10 x 10 UNCOVERED SPACE.

The 2010 Festival is expected to draw more than 7,000 visitors for two days of art, food, festivities, and most of all, fun, and we need your help.

Volunteers for the African Arts in the Park are from many different backgrounds including students, schools and colleges, young professionals, retired persons, community groups, and art organizations.  It's a great event for couples and individuals to meet new people.  No specific experience is necessary - only enthusiasm!

Volunteer Benefits
Every volunteer will receive the following benefits for working at the festival:

  • African Arts in the Park festival volunteer t-shirt (one per volunteer/per day)
  • Student volunteers receive community service hours for their volunteer time.
  • Volunteers will receive breakfast or lunch for their volunteer time.
